Choosing this tool
For a client deliverable, do not use the free tier as a production budget shortcut: the current official FAQ says free-plan images are public and not licensed for commercial use. A paid plan changes ownership and privacy for images made while subscribed. Keep the generation date and plan evidence with the asset.

For a one-month client project, Basic costs $12 before VAT. Keeping it monthly for 12 months costs $144, versus $120 paid upfront for the annual plan: a $24 difference. Both list 1,000 credits/month. Do not turn that allowance into an image count without choosing the operation and model first.
