Choosing this tool
Choose Haystack when a Python team needs explicit control of retrieval and routing in an application. It makes component boundaries reviewable but does not provide a finished knowledge portal by itself. Choose Langflow for visual iteration or LlamaIndex for its document connector and indexing ecosystem.

For support answers, evaluate retrieval and generation separately: first check whether the expected help article is retrieved, then check whether the answer stays within it. This isolates a routing failure from a language-model failure.
